But not enough time to post them all. So I'll just let you all know that as of this last weekend I am engaged to a wonderful young gentleman from Los Angeles.
Mazal Tov to Little Brother and my new sister-in-law on the occasion of their wedding which was last week, so beautiful. Wishing them only wonderful things for the future.
So it's been quite a busy week or two since I arrived in the USA. The first few days were spent in Baltimore where I was visiting for a wedding of a family friend. Didn't manage much tourist stuff except for a trip to the Inner Harbor which is a nice area (picture of ship in Harbor) until a giant storm ended that outing!
Then it was off to NY for a few days. Brooklyn for a while, then Queens and managed to make it to Manhattan on Sunday (Peurto Rican parade in the city). I had the pleasure of staying at SerAndEz and meeting up with a number of bloggers - Shoshana (who gets a Mazal Tov!), SaraK, Erachet - and a number of other friends.
Back in LA again after the few short days in New York. Interesting flight over - lady up the back of the plane caused a fuss, bit of a ruckus at some point during the flight and then when we landed was escorted off the aircraft by by five policemen. Never a dull moment! So now I'm enjoying the California sunshine, catching up with friends, a spot of shopping, some excellent sushi, seeing more of LA (picture of view from Griffith Observatory) and finally starting to relax after a few months of craziness. The whole reason for this trip though? Engagement party for my brother :)
So that's it for now. Back home to wintery Melbourne next week. Right now I'm gonna go have a nice day out and enjoy the sunshine!
